Small Home Studio is an editorial project focused on the everyday decisions that make a home feel finished — the rug that anchors a room, the printable checklist that finally cuts through the clutter, the meal planner that stops the 5pm dinner question.

We publish long-form guides. No listicles. No 300-word "top 10" posts written to game search. Every guide is the answer we wish existed when we were figuring out the same question — with the specific product recommendations, the sizing math, and the mistakes to avoid.

Our editorial standards

• Every recommendation is a product we would personally use or would put in our own home.
• We do not accept payment in exchange for coverage — only affiliate commissions on sales, at no cost to the reader.
• We disclose affiliate relationships on every post that contains one. See our full affiliate disclosure.
• We update posts when the product landscape changes. Old guides get revisions, not silent removal.

Who we cover

Rugs (from Rug Source, Ruggable, Designer Living, Belle & June, and others), home organization printables (primarily from independent Etsy sellers), meal planning and cleaning systems, and budget tools that actually stick.

We choose partners based on product quality, generous return windows, and treatment of independent publishers. Not on commission rate alone.
