How this affects our editorial

It doesn't. We choose what to cover based on what will genuinely help the reader — not on commission rate. We regularly recommend products with lower commissions when they are the better choice, and we decline to cover products we don't believe in regardless of commission.

If a merchant asks for coverage in exchange for higher commission or exclusive placement, we decline.

How to identify affiliate links
